Major bureau carriers (500+) have authority to provide service to and from the city of Fostoria.

Railroads

Main line service by two railroads, both with yards and interchange agreements, provides Fostoria with excellent rail shipping facilities in all directions.

The Fostoria Municipal Airport: The Fostoria Municipal Airport offers a 4,200′ x 100′ all-weather surface runway, unobstructed by either end, high-intensity transmitter activated runway lights and beacon, and hanger space.

A full-time fixed base operator is available around the clock, seven days a week, providing mechanical, fuel and charter services.

Toledo Express Airport & Burlington Air Express: Fostoria is 45 miles from Toledo Express Airport and Burlington Air Express air-cargo hub, the central point for the company’s 488 office in 112 countries. The airport has regularly scheduled flights with more than 40 daily departures and general aviation service connecting most major cities.

Detroit International Airport: Located less than a two hour drive to the north of Fostoria.

Port Facilities

The Port of Toledo: Less than 50 miles from Fostoria, is the only diversified cargo-handling port on the Great Lakes. The Port is a domestic and international shipping center located along the Maumee River, and has a 150-acre overseas cargo center which offers world traders the benefits of a Foreign Trade Zone operation.  Total Port cargo annually averages 12 million tons.
