Ambassadors
Ambassadors act as a member liaison with the Chamber, welcome new businesses or agencies to the community by attending Chamber Ribbon Cuttings and other Chamber functions as well as answer questions about the Chamber. The Ambassadors are the public relations arm of the Chamber and are volunteer leaders who promote and represent the Chamber at all official functions. Ambassadors are instrumental in promoting Chamber initiatives throughout our community.
How to Become an Ambassador
Ambassadors are selected from among interested persons either employed by or retired from Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses. When selecting new members, consideration is given to visibility in the community, community interests, and a willingness to support Chamber and Ambassadors activities.

Leadership Seneca County
In 1995, the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce joined with the Tiffin Chamber of Commerce and the Seneca County Extension Service to create a leadership development program. Leadership Seneca County provides a learning experience designed to develop community awareness, decision-making, team building, problem solving and collaboration. Through participation in program activities, participants strengthen their respective backgrounds to help them become valuable assets in their personal and professional lives. Since that time, more than 200 individuals have participated in the program.
Leadership Seneca County is a vibrant training organization focused on developing and enhancing the knowledge and enthusiasm of tomorrow’s leaders. The mission of Leadership Seneca County is to educate and inspire individuals to be dynamic leaders and contributors in the workplace and community. Annual Dinner
Each year, the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates our member investors at the annual chamber meeting luncheon. We now include the Fostoria Business Awards as part of this entertaining event. The Fostoria Business Awards spotlight chamber members for their dedication as chamber members and in the community.
Chamber Golf Classic
Join us for the annual Chamber Golf Classic! For more than 30 years the Chamber has hosted this traditional tournament for the greater Fostoria area. The Golf Classic hosts approximately 120 golfers each year. One of the largest golf tournaments in the Fostoria area, this event delivers the opportunity to combine business with relaxation.
If you are a golfer, you will not want to miss this exciting event. Even if you do not golf that often, this outing is always fun. Put together your 4-person team for a shotgun. The cost is $100 per person/$400 per team (we can put a team together for you if needed). Your registration includes green fees, cart rental, range balls, lunch, and a steak dinner. Can’t golf? Join us for the awards ceremony and dinner for $20.

Discover Downtown Fostoria at the Fostoria Car Show. Each year our show gets bigger and better, drawing classic vehicles from throughout northwest Ohio. Just a few of the prizes that are awarded:

Dueling Pianos
Join us for the annual Dueling Pianos fundraising event! Brought back by popular demand! The Chamber has hosted this traditional event for the greater Fostoria area and hope to continue to for many years to come. The Dueling Pianos offers 40 tables to Chamber members each year. One of the largest events in the Fostoria area, this event delivers the opportunity to combine business with relaxation, fun, laughter, prizes/raffles & music!
You will not want to miss this exciting event. Get together with 10 of your co-workers/friends for a night of food, fun, etc. The cost is $650 for Rock-N-Roll sponsorship, gives you 20 tickets, VIP seating, banner at event,& logo on all advertising/$350 Sing-A-Long sponsorship, gives you 10 tickets, logo in all advertising .
