Promoting Business in the Greater Fostoria Area   

The Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce, a 501c6 private business association, serves as an advocate for its investors and the entire business community in the Tri-County region.  By speaking for entrepreneurs and leaders in every business sector, we help to build a diverse and prosperous area economy.   

We promote pro-business government policies through an informed and active membership.  We provide services and benefits to help our members operate their businesses more efficiently and more profitably. We identify business community needs and respond to them.   

We’re proud of our local member firms and family businesses that trade throughout Fostoria, Ohio, America and the world.  We share a common understanding that northwest Ohio’s strong business climate is the key to Fostoria’s prosperity as well.

Chamber Organization and Mission   

The Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce is in business for business.   

Our mission:  To foster positive growth and community development by creating a positive economic, political and social climate.   

Since its founding in 1915, the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce has actively promoted civic progress and achievement as well as business opportunity and improvement within the community.  The Chamber has diligently pursued and explored industrial progress and expansion in connection with the Fostoria Economic Development Corporation for Fostoria and the surrounding area.   

Today, the membership of the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce spans the tri-county area.  We work cooperatively with other area chambers for the continued economic welfare of the entire area.  Our chamber members can point to past accomplishments and look to the future with confidence and certainty.
