Farm to Table Dinner Tickets On Sale Now

Farm to Table Dinner

The Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce has announced public ticket sales for the Farm to Table Dinner.  This will be the Chamber’s second year hosting the Farm to Table Dinner. The dinner’s purpose is to bring people together in the heart of our community, on Main Street, to share a meal sourced from local farms and celebrate our long history of agriculture.

Food for Farm to Table will be prepared by ProMedica Health Systems, Executive Chef, Hannah Robertson and her team.  A selection of wines will be available from Chateau Tabeau as well local and regional craft beers.

Ticket prices are $75 per person and $125 per couple.  All food and alcohol is included with the price of the ticket.

16th Annual Car Show Winners Announced

FOSTORIA,OH-Downtown Fostoria was the setting of the 16th Annual Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce and  Visitors Bureau Car show.  The event was presented by Reineke Family Dealerships and Mennel Milling along with many other Chamber annual sponsors.

This year’s event was held in conjunction with the first ever Habitat Bash which featured and entertainment tent with members of the band Rough Country.

A rainy start to the day didn’t stop the event from moving forward and 36 cars, trucks and motorcycles participated in the show.  Although the turn was low organizers of the car show were pleased with the turnout based on the weather.

Chamber to Host Annual Car Show Friday, July 20

FOSTORIA,OH-Downtown Fostoria will be the setting of the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau’s 16th Annual Car Show and the first ever Habitat Bash.

 

The Chamber Car Show presented by Reineke Family Dealerships and Mennel Milling will take place Friday, July 20.  The show is open to all classic and antique cars, trucks and motorcycles.  The show will kick off at 4 p.m. with auto registration and conclude at 8 p.m. with awards.  The show will be held on Main Street, from North Street to South Street, and will feature a new car display from Reineke Family Dealerships.  The entrance for Car Show participants will be the corner of North Street and Main Street.   14 trophies will be awarded and the first 100 registrants will receive goody bags courtesy of the event sponsors and participating Chamber members.  Pre-registration is $10 and registration at the show is $15.  Registration forms can be found on the Chamber website, http://fostoriachamber.com/about/car-show/ or can be picked up at the Chamber office located at 121 N. Main St. Fostoria, Ohio 44830.

 

During the Car Show the Fostoria Area Habitat for Humanity will host an entertainment tent featuring members of the band Rough Country and serve draft beer and adult beverages.  All proceeds from the entertainment tent will benefit Fostoria Area Habitat for Humanity.  The Habitat Bash will kick off at 5 p.m. and conclude at 9:00 p.m.  In addition to food available at local downtown restaurants Leadership Seneca County will be serving sandwiches, chips, water and pop of which all sales will benefit their organization.

 

Parking for those interested in coming Downtown on Friday, will find some street closures after 2:00 p.m. However, many different parking areas are available during the day.  The Ray Dell parking lot on the corner of South Street and Main Street, the city parking lot on East Center Street are available for parking and West Tiffin Street will remain open for those who need to access the Downtown businesses and located on Main Street.
